After extensive testing and valuable customer feedback, we have completely redesigned our V2 Alfa Romeo Giulia bumper tab brackets to be the best solution on the market.
Our original version provided a reliable fix, but we knew there was room for improvement. Since September 2024, we have dedicated months to research and development, evaluating and testing different materials to determine the best combination of strength, rigidity, and long-term durability. Through this process, we found that many materials, while strong, failed to properly bond and integrate with OEM bumpers, making them impractical for long-term use.
To ensure seamless adhesion and maximum durability, we looked directly at Alfa Romeo’s own engineering choices. By studying OEM parking sensor brackets and their tab designs, we applied similar principles to our own redesigned bumper tab brackets. Using this approach, we engineered a bracket that not only replicates 1:1 OEM fitment but also provides enhanced rigidity, impact resistance, and superior heat tolerance.
Constructed from an advanced carbon-reinforced polymer, these brackets provide exceptional strength and rigidity, while maintaining a lightweight profile. The added carbon properties enhance structural integrity, improving clipping strength and long-term durability over OEM materials. With a tensile strength of approximately 55-65 MPa (8,000-9,500 PSI), these brackets are 60% stronger than standard polypropylene bumper material. Engineered for high-heat applications, they withstand temperatures up to 100°C (212°F) without warping or degrading.
Installation Options:
These brackets can be professionally bonded using high-strength adhesives such as 3M DP8005 or DP8010, which are specifically designed for polypropylene and composite materials. While traditional plastic welding methods are more challenging due to the carbon reinforcement, specialized heat bonding techniques may be possible under professional application.
